Kforce Consultant Portal - A Leap of Faith

The discussion of a platform that improves the relationship between staffing firms, clients, and consultants came up during an executive leadership meeting between Kfroce and a fortune 50 company. The topic evolved around improving the recruitment process that benefits all parties. How might we increase communication between clients, consultants, and recruiters plus provide the client with real time consultant performance and availability status in real-time.

Intuitive access to consultant profiles improves the recruiting and assignment process, adds client visibility into consultants performance and status, allows clients to be proactive by matching consultants to future projects, and increases opportunities for consultant reassignment.


Client: Access consultant profiles assigned to their team, review consultant performance and status, review and rate consultant performance, access to all Kforce consultants for future project matching.

Recruiters: Access consultant profiles on assignment, review review consultant performance and status, access to all consultants for future project matching, and share/tag desirable consultants.

Consultants: Access personal profile to update project status, video bio, skills, portfolio and interests.

Ideation

Sketching With The Client

Putting thoughts to paper to develop concepts is the fastest approach to ideation. Marty and the client thought through the customer pains and the future state of “what could be” and adopting technology like AI and ML. Marty also created a user flow that could be translated into a low fidelity wireframe


Protoype

Proof Of Concept

The prototype illustrated the interaction between the client, the recruiter, and the consultant. The online consultant network delivers need-to-know details of each consultant on assignment or ready for their next project. The client can manage their roster of consultants, request reviews from managers, and request headcount fro the recruiting partners. Seamlessly the recruiter has all the information needed to pursue the next best talent for their client all the while the consultants profile is current using real time data pulls that aggregate information from social media sites like LinkedIn.

The Results

This prototype supports the value add Kforce delivers to the client. Although Kforce could not develop this app at that time the client renewed the $64M statement of work for many reasons including the shared vision of AI, machine learning, and access to Kforce’s invaluable data.
